1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Kirayago:
- Account Information: Name, phone number, email address, and profile photo during registration.
- Parcel Information: Parcel photos, delivery details, sender and recipient information.
- Location Data: Real-time GPS location for delivery tracking and address pinning.
- Device & Usage Data: App version, device type, and basic usage logs for performance improvements.
2. App Permissions & Why We Use Them
Kirayago requests the following device permissions to provide its services:
đ Internet (INTERNET)
Internet access is required for the core functionality of the app â connecting to our servers to send and receive parcel data, track deliveries in real time, upload photos, and load map information. Without internet, the app cannot function.
đˇ Camera (CAMERA)
The camera permission is used for two purposes:
a) User Registration: When you register on Kirayago, you can capture a profile photo using your camera to set up your account identity.
b) Parcel Photos: Delivery agents and senders can photograph parcels at the time of pickup and delivery as visual proof of the parcel's condition and handover.
đ Fine & Coarse Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)
Location access is used to:
a) Pin Pickup & Delivery Addresses: Users can pin their exact location on a map for accurate pickup and drop-off address selection.
b) Live Parcel Tracking: Delivery agents share their real-time location so senders and recipients can track parcel movement on a map.
c) Route Optimization: Location data helps delivery agents find the most efficient route for timely deliveries.
Fine location provides GPS-level precision (used while actively tracking), while coarse location provides approximate network-based location as a fallback.
đ Read External Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
This permission allows users to select existing photos from their device gallery â for example, to upload a parcel photo or set a profile picture from an image already saved on their phone, instead of taking a new photo with the camera.
đž Write External Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
This permission allows the app to save delivery-related files directly to your device's storage, including:
a) Bills & Invoices: After each delivery, the app generates and saves a bill/invoice as a PDF or image file on your device so you can access it anytime â even offline â or share it with others.
b) Parcel Receipts & Photos: Delivery confirmation photos and receipts are saved locally for your records.
đī¸ Record Audio (RECORD_AUDIO)
Microphone access is used to enable voice-based features within the app, such as voice messages between delivery agents and customers for delivery instructions, or voice search for entering addresses hands-free â improving accessibility and convenience.
đŗ Vibrate (VIBRATE)
The vibrate permission allows the app to trigger haptic (vibration) feedback on your device alongside push notifications, such as:
a) Delivery Notifications: Vibration alerts when a parcel is picked up, out for delivery, or successfully delivered.
b) New Order Alerts: Delivery agents receive a vibration alert when a new parcel order is assigned to them.
c) Status Updates: Any important status change (e.g., delivery failed, rescheduled) triggers a vibration so you never miss a critical update even when your phone is on silent.
đ Read Contacts (READ_CONTACTS)
Contact permission allows you to quickly search and select recipient or sender contact details from your phonebook when creating a parcel delivery request â so you don't have to type phone numbers manually. We do not upload, sync, or store your contact list on our servers.
âšī¸ We only request permissions that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the app. You will be prompted before each permission is accessed, and you can revoke permissions at any time from your device settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your Kirayago account.
- To process and track parcel deliveries.
- To verify identity and parcel condition through photos.
- To enable address selection and live delivery tracking via location.
- To send delivery status notifications and alerts.
- To improve app performance and fix technical issues.
- To provide customer support when needed.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only in the following limited cases:
- With Delivery Partners: Sender/recipient contact and address details are shared with the assigned delivery agent to complete the delivery.
- With Service Providers: Trusted third-party services (e.g., map APIs, cloud storage) used to operate the app, bound by strict data privacy agreements.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Profile and parcel photos are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized users involved in the specific delivery transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Delivery records may be retained for a limited period for legal and dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Kirayago is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent for any permission at any time via device settings.
- Lodge a complaint with relevant data protection authorities.

At Kirayago, we respect your right to privacy and data control. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems, you can submit a deletion request by following the steps below.
â ī¸ Warning: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your data is deleted, your account, delivery history, saved addresses, and all associated information cannot be recovered.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon a successful deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile (name, phone number, email, profile photo)
- Your complete delivery history and parcel records
- Saved pickup and delivery addresses
- Parcel photos uploaded by you
- Any voice messages or notes associated with your account
- Bills, invoices, and receipts stored on our servers
- Your contact preferences and app settings

- In the email body, include your registered phone number or email address so we can identify your account.
- Our team will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been permanently deleted.
Processing Timeline
- Request Received: Within 24 hours of your email, we will acknowledge receipt.
- Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletions.
- Deletion Completed: Within 7 business days of verified request.
